About these terms
These terms apply when you use the Solar City marketing website (including www.solarcityuk.co.uk and any staging host such as www.solarcityuk.co.uk) and tools on it, including the instant design tool and enquiry forms.

Indicative pricing - not a final quote
Prices, system sizes, layouts, generation estimates and savings figures shown on this website (including the design tool and any downloadable summaries) are indicative only. They are ballpark figures based on the information and imagery available online. They are not a formal quotation, MCS certificate, or contract offer.
Final design, suitability, price and any grid (DNO/National Grid) requirements are confirmed after our desktop design and/or on-site survey. Scaffolding and other site-specific costs may not be included in online figures.
No obligation online design
You can use the design tool without leaving contact details. If you submit an enquiry, you ask us to contact you about that enquiry. See our Privacy Policy for how we use your data.
Accuracy of information
We aim to keep website content accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that all information is complete or current. Product availability, accreditation details and pricing guidance may change. Satellite imagery and automated layout suggestions can be imperfect; roof condition, shading, structure and electrics must be verified.

You agree not to:
- Misuse forms (spam, false details, or automated abuse)
- Attempt to disrupt, scrape excessively, or reverse-engineer the site or APIs beyond normal browsing
- Use the site for unlawful purposes

Content on this site (branding, text, layout, photography we own, and our tools) is owned by Solar City or our licensors. You may view and use the site for personal, non-commercial enquiry purposes. You may not copy our tools or content for competing commercial use without permission. Map and satellite imagery remain subject to the rights of their providers (for example Google).

Parts of the site rely on third parties (for example Google Maps on the design tool). Their terms and privacy policies apply to their services.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on indicative online estimates alone, or from temporary unavailability of the website. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
